🌳 Waiola Park Project Update 🌳

We appreciate the community’s patience as work at Waiola Park was temporarily delayed. During excavation, a large amount of organic fill was discovered, requiring a solution to properly support construction.

To ensure we remained fiscally responsible and in compliance with our OSLAD Grant requirements, the revised plan was submitted to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. We’re happy to share that approval was received this week, and construction will resume early next week.
