What is Aging Well?
Aging Well is a community partnership working throughout greater Lyons Township, dedicated to working with communities to create an environment in which people can age well. Aging Well is an intergenerational partnership which began in 2001. Today there are 16 community action teams in greater Lyons Township.
The Aging Well partnership is composed of older adults, local government, service providers, marketing professionals, volunteers, police and others. Community action teams work together to develop projects that meet the needs of their local communities.

Aging Well is an integral part of Community Partnerships for Older Adults (CPFOA) – a national program of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Aging Well is supported locally by The Chicago Community Trust, Community Memorial Foundation and the Township of Lyons.
