We Need Your Voice! The PDLG Comprehensive Master Plan is Underway!

The Park District of La Grange is currently in the process of developing its 2022-2032 Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP). This new CMP will identify, define, refine, and adjust the capital improvements and goals for the Park District to complete over the next ten years. During the planning process, we will be completing a detailed analysis of the Park District parks, facilities, and offerings while collecting community input that will guide the direction of the Comprehensive Master Plan. The document will give our agency direction based on shared values with community, agency staff and elected officials.

During our Comprehensive Master Plan process, we will have multiple community input opportunities that will help develop the plan. The next scheduled meeting is our Open House on Monday, July 19, 6:00pm at the Community Center. The Open House is to solicit input from the citizens and users regarding their concerns and opinions about existing facilities and programs, and their desires for future facilities and programs. Please stay tuned for our survey opportunities! There will be a survey posted on our website (open to the public), along with a statistically valid survey that will be mailed to 2,000 random La Grange homes. The survey is projected to be mailed and posted on our website mid-August. We will continue to post updates!

We are very excited for the process to learn how we can better serve our community. To make this process successful we require participation from the community and our Stakeholders.
