Pollinators are responsible for assisting over 80% of the world's flowering plants to reproduce. More than beautiful, monarch butterflies along with other pollinators are vital to our food security, economy, and overall environmental health. Learn about the role native plants have in the survival of the pollinators.

A Naturalist from Trailside Museum of Natural History will be sharing information and interesting facts about the pollinators with emphasis on the Monarch Butterfly.

The Trailside Museum of Natural History is one of six nature centers of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County. This is a FREE event.
