PDLG COVID-19 UPDATES

Phase 5 Update June 6, 2021

Dear Park District of La Grange Patrons,

As of Friday, June 11, 2021, the state of Illinois is advancing to Phase 5 in the Restore Illinois Plan!

The CDC and Illinois Department of Public Health still recommend social distancing where possible and maintaining good hygiene – i.e., hand washing, etc. as preventative measures for spreading viruses. If you are fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus you do not need to wear a face covering unless you are within 6 feet of children under the age of 12, as they cannot be vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, you should still wear a face covering. We recommend everyone keeping one on hand when using PDLG facilities.

Updated Phase 5 operational measures will be forthcoming in the days ahead, including information regarding open gym. Please stay tuned and thank you for your continued patience!

Please remember:

  • To be mindful of your proximity to others at all times even if you are fully vaccinated.
  • To keep a face covering available for use just in case you need one.
  • Wash your hands when possible.

Thank you for helping keep our patrons, staff and community healthy!
PDLG Staff

Updated May 14, 2021

The health and safety of our participants is our utmost priority at the Park District of La Grange.

As of 4:00pm on May 14, no announcement has been made by the Illinois Governor regarding mask wearing for vaccinated individuals.

At this time, everyone must wear a mask while visiting the Park District facilities.

The CDC announced that individuals who have been vaccinated (after two weeks) can remove their mask, however, we are a state government agency and must follow the Illinois State and local guidelines.

If new Illinois State and local guidelines are announced, staff will review the guidelines and determine if any updates are required. We ask for your patience and support, as the updated guidelines are complicated and will take time to review all the details.

We appreciate your help and support in providing a safe environment for all who participate in Park District activities. If you have any questions or concerns, please email pdlginfo@pdlg.org.

Updates will be posted at www.pdlg.org

Sincerely,
The Park District of La Grange Staff
