Tried, True & New…Events coming up this Spring

Tuesday, February 22 2022

We are thrilled to bring back our ever popular Mother/Son Dance this year. It was the last event we hosted before the Pandemic hit in 2020 and the county restrictions didn’t allow us to host it last year. This time around we believe those restrictions will be lifted just in time for us to enjoy a night of dancing, games, pictures & fun! We’ll have a DJ playing your favorites and a photo booth so you can capture pictures with your son and their friends. The Mother/Son Dance will take place in the DeSitter Room on March 4th from 6p-8p. There are a few spots left so register HERE before it’s too late!

NEW this year we are hosting Touch A Truck at Sedgwick Park on March 19th. This is a FREE event for the community and will take place on the big soccer field. We will have a few military vehicles on-site thanks to the National Guard, a school bus, crane and a police car, just to name a few. This event will run from 10a-12p with the first half hour sensory free so there will be no horns, sirens or loud noises. Grab the kids or grandkids and we’ll see you there!

This Easter season we have something for everyone in the family! We have several opportunities to visit with the Easter Bunny this year! Come join us for Breakfast with the Bunny. Bring your camera for your picture! We’ll have a light breakfast and Easter crafts for you as well. The older kids have chance to get some candy this season when they come to our Tween Flashlight Egg Hunt on April 8th. Bring your flashlight and a bag for your eggs and come hunt. The next day will be our annual Easter Egg Hunt where we’ll have eggs out for the younger kids beginning with ages 3 years and older at 10am, 4-5 year olds 10:10am, and 6-8 year olds at 10:20am. NEW this year will be the Easter Egg Crawl for those kids 14 months and younger that are crawling. One parent or adult will be at one side and the child will crawl to the other parent/adult at the other side. When the humans are all done collecting Easter goodies it’s our 4 legged canine friends turn at the Doggie Egg Hunt! Bring your dog and have them hunt for Easter Eggs filled with treats just for them.

We don’t want you to miss out on any of these activities so use the links below to register for them and we’ll see you there!!
